Actually this will be my third 1 my first 1 I had on 4 polk audio 12Dxi @ one ohm. But soon after I became more bass hungry so I sold the Polks and bought four kicker c v r’s with 2 brand new EV3000D’s producing 4400 watts rms @ 2 ohms. Words can’t described . . . :-)

I have officially bought 2 of these amps for use in my ’04 Scion xB. The amps are great, when they both work. Originally I had 1 amp that I purchased in February connected to 2 Pioneer Subs. After my last car show/audio competition in July, I decided to upgrade my system. I purchased a second SSL EV3000D amp, 2 new 10″ Boss Audio P10DVC 4 ohm subs, a ported box, a 10 farad SSL capacitor, a new SSL head unit, 0 gauge wiring kit, and a distribution block. Once everything was in the car and connected, I experimented with strapping and non-strapping. This is where I noticed my first problem. The amp I purchased in Feb. worked for about a week with the new setup. I had the amps strapped together and had the Feb. purchase as the main amp. I noticed a nice pulsating sound emanating from my subs and quickly disconnected the amp. Unfortunately it took one of the new subs with it. I contacted the tech department and sent it in, cost me $90 to have shipped to and from their location in California. They found no issues and sent it back to me, took a total of 3 weeks round trip. I reconnected everything and the next day the same pulsating occurred. Disconnect, call tech support they send me a shipping label. I ship it in, a month later I get a call saying there is nothing wrong and I need to send $30 to have it shipped back. Send the money order and get the amp back 2 months later, not their fault, money is tight. Connect the amp as the slave this time, run it, get out to my car the next day, no sound output and a new annoyance, a buzzing coming from the door speakers. Disconnect the amp, the buzzing stops, power it back up connect the RCA’s, buzzing. Sent the tech department a ticket from their website, they respond with forwarding this over to our manager, 2 weeks later the ticket is closed and no response. I love the product but for my experience with their Tech Support team 4 stars. Now after having said all of this, my second amp has not given me a single issue.
